- The course emphasizes the use of scene size-up, history, interactive group discussion on potential treatment strategies as well as physical examination to systematically consider and rule out possibilities and probabilities in treating patients’ medical crises.
- Differential Diagnosis is at the core of the concept.
- The course offers an initial assessment-based approach which progresses on to a diagnostic-based approach to quickly develop the best treatment plan.
- Teaching stations follow the associated lectures each day.
- Blended learning version, with theory covered online in advance, followed by a 1-day intensive practical session, that consists of interactive teaching and evaluation stations.
- Recognised for 16 CPC Points for PHECC-Registered EMTs.
