The range of courses is specifically selected to ensure that we cater for the most important areas of patient care in Ireland, with an additional emphasis on the areas that would be considered Emergent or Life-threatening situations.

We facilitate these training courses by using state-of-the-art equipment (you can find out about our equipment here) and highly experienced instructors with a vast amount of experience, in both the clinical and educational settings.

The EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) course is the first level of Practitioner in Ireland. The course is designed to allow you to undertake the PHECC national examinations and go on to register as a Licensed EMT.

The EFR (Emergency First Response) course is the highest level of Responder in Ireland. The course is designed to qualify you with certification, skills and knowledge required to operate as an EFR.

The FAR (First Aid Response) course is the recognised first aid qualification for use in the workplace in Ireland. The course is designed to qualify you with certification, skills and knowledge required to operate as an FAR in the occupational setting. It is certified by PHECC and recognised by the HSA.

1/2-day course designed to cover the basics of responding to a cardiac emergency (Heart Attack, Cardiac Arrest or Stroke).

This course provide students with the ability to recognise and treat immediately life-threatening conditions such as Heart Attack, Cardiac Arrest, Stroke or Choking using advanced techniques.

The Cardiac First Response – Advanced Instructor Course is a 2-day course designed to provide candidates with the knowledge, skills and techniques required to deliver the PHECC CFR-C and CFR-A Courses.

Course Aim: To provide candidates with the tools required to effectively deliver PHECC CFR-C and CFR-A training.

The Cardiac First Response – Community Instructor Course is a 2-day course designed to provide candidates with the knowledge, skills and techniques required to deliver the PHECC CFR-C Courses.
