FAR
The FAR (First Aid Response) course is the recognised first aid qualification for use in the workplace in Ireland. The course is designed to qualify you with certification, skills and knowledge required to operate as an FAR in the occupational setting. It is certified by PHECC and recognised by the HSA.
Course Aim: The aim of our First Aid Response course is to provide students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to provide care management to a wide range of sick and injured patients in an occupational setting, with an emphasis on preparing the patient for transport when an ambulance arrives on scene.
Course Structure: The Emergency First Response course consists of 24 classroom hours. This course can be run either as three consecutive days (09:00-17:00) or spread out over three weeks, one day per week (09:00-17:00).
