Emergency First Response Instructor (EFR-I)

Course Aim: The PHECC EFR Instructor Course is designed to teach the methods to effectively instruct others in all PHECC EFR/FAR courses. You must hold an in-date CFR-Advanced Instructor certificate and also in-date certification of at least EMT in order to gain entry onto the EFR Instructor course.

Course Structure: The EFR Instructor Course is of three days duration and essence of this course is to become proficient in running FAR & EFR Courses.

During the course you will practice facilitating a class with lots of role play. The course is build upon class/learner facilitation.

Practical skills examined include:

    • Adult, Infant and Child one person CPR
    • Recovery Position
    • Wound management
    • Musculo-skeletal Injury management
    • Patient Assessment
    • Pharmacology
    • Equipment Hygiene

 

Course Tutors: Instructors are practiced PHECC Practitioners with many years experience in delivering this course.
